Since he was a kid, Ryan has always been fascinated by the human body. He has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This early passion for sports and exercise is what led him to pursue a major in Physiology at UCLA. Ryan’s own firsthand experience with PT and OT after an automobile accident in 2001 has empowered him to share his love for fitness with others to develop more fit, capable and healthier bodies. He trains with a focus on functional fitness for better metabolic conditioning, strength, flexibility and endurance. His experiences from sports, teaching, and life have all shaped his mission to help guide others in their own journey to become the happiest, healthiest you possible. Ryan is a proud father of three adorable kitties and is currently training to be a ninja. When he is not day-dreaming of being on American Ninja Warrior, he is hiding from spiders and his biggest weakness is dark chocolate.
