Hello, my name is Dr. Adam Riva, and I am a Sports Medicine Physician at the Orthopedic Specialty Institute in Orange County. Every day, I do everything short of surgery to help my patients heal from their injuries and get back to doing what they love. Some of my specific services include concussion management and various kinds of injections. And while I work in sports medicine, athletes aren’t the only patients I work with — I also work with people from every age group, regardless of background.
I do everything I can to help my patients heal, but depending on their injuries, sometimes they’re better off in someone else’s hands. Some of my patients end up needing surgery, though that’s not the case for most of them. Others need extra help with rehabilitation of the injured area — and that’s where In Motion O.C. has been instrumental.
I first learned about In Motion O.C. from my partners at the Orthopedic Specialty Institute, who had previously collaborated with them. In the two years I have practiced Sports Medicine at OSI, I have learned of In Motion O.C.’s incredible facilities, helpful staff, and terrific ownership which have made them an indispensable part of the community.
While I had already worked with In Motion O.C., I actually met Jeff Thomas, the owner, through sheer happenstance. When I was at a summer church camp with my family, I spotted someone wearing an In Motion O.C. hat and shirt. That someone turned out to be Jeff, and meeting him turned into a great opportunity to put a name to a face.
I’m excited to continue working with In Motion O.C., and I am also excited to announce that I will be giving a seminar at In Motion O.C. on July 25 at 7 p.m. The seminar will be about how sports medicine can be used to treat arthritis. Register for this free seminar at www.InMotionOC.com.
