At In Motion O.C., we pride ourselves on gathering the most talented, professional, and passionate team members around. When you visit any of our locations, you can expect to receive the best possible care from any of our team members. We are proud to announce our new clinic director for our Fountain Valley physical therapy office. She is Kristin Meily, PT, DPT!  We couldn’t be more excited.

Long ago, Kristin worked as a receptionist alongside her brother at a skilled nursing facility while attending Cal State Fullerton. Her brother was a physical therapy assistant at that facility and her desk was right next to the physical therapy department where she gained valuable insight into the field. When she was a junior in college, she decided to follow in her brother’s footsteps and pursue a career in physical therapy. She graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and quickly enrolled in PT school at the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, graduating as a doctor of physical therapy a few years later.

Upon gaining her PT license, Kristin began developing her skills in a variety of physical therapy settings to hone her craft over time. She is already making her mark as a top physical therapist in Orange County.

One of the things she enjoys most about working in the PT field is providing personalized service to her patients as they progress through their recovery. She loves getting to know people as a whole and working with them through each step of their recovery. More than anything else, she wants to help people heal so they can get back to doing the things they enjoy.

Kristin looks to make a positive change in her patients’ lives. She knows that physical pain often comes with emotional and mental burdens so she’ll do whatever she can to help them return to their normal lifestyles. She often competes in marathons and other physically demanding activities that have left her with some injuries of her own. This helps her understand the exact situation that many of her patients are going through.

Our Director of Physical Therapy Rich Rommelfanger is incredibly excited about Kristin joining the Fountain Valley team.  “In addition to being a natural leader, we were impressed with her excellent communication skills and her ability to meet the patients where they are in the recovery process.  Her ability to focus all of her energy, time, and attention on her patients is nothing short of awe-inspiring.  She radiates positivity which is so important to In Motion O.C.  We know she’s going to connect with each and every patient. So many patients are going to be helped and feel loved by her.”

We’re beyond excited to have Kristin as a part of our team.  She’s available now to treat you and your symptomatic friends and family at our Fountain Valley physical therapy clinic, which is at the corner of Talbert and Ward, and adjacent to the 405.  Welcome to the team, Kristin!
